Do you accept insurance?
Dr. Savaya does not bill insurance directly for visits. This allows for longer, more comprehensive appointments and highly individualized care that is not constrained by insurance-based models. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds, and superbills can be provided for potential reimbursement. Lab and imaging orders can typically be run through your insurance.
Do you work alongside my existing doctors?
Yes. You don’t have to choose between conventional and naturopathic care. Dr. Savaya frequently collaborates with OB/GYNs, fertility clinics, endocrinologists, and primary care providers to ensure you receive well-coordinated, comprehensive care.
Do you prescribe medication?
Yes. In Arizona, Dr. Savaya is licensed to prescribe medications when appropriate, in addition to using nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement-based approaches.
Do you see patients in person or virtually?
Both. While Dr. Savaya is currently based in Michigan, she travels back to Arizona quarterly to offer in-person appointments. Many of her patients choose to work with her virtually, and the care provided does not change—labs, imaging, and prescriptions in Arizona can still be managed as needed. When possible, she aims to incorporate at least one in-person visit, but it is not required.
What can I expect at my first visit?
Your initial visit is a comprehensive 90-minute consultation where we review your health history, symptoms, labs (if available), and goals in detail. The focus is on identifying underlying patterns and what may have been overlooked, so we can create a clear, personalized plan moving forward.
Is this right for me if I have been told everything is "normal?
Yes—many of Dr. Savaya’s patients come to her after being told their labs are “normal,” but they’re still experiencing symptoms or struggling to conceive. In her practice, the focus is not just on whether labs fall within a standard range, but whether they are optimal for hormone health, fertility, and overall well-being.
